Dr Andrew (Drew) MacQuarrie joined the University of Greenwich in 2021, having previously taught and researched at University College London (UCL). He teaches in the areas of games technologies as well as virtual, augmented and mixed reality.

Research / Scholarly interests

Drew’s research focuses on virtual reality content creation through film, on which he has previously worked with organisations such as the BBC and Dimension Studios. He is also interested in the user experience of emerging content types, and how affordances can impact the ways in which viewers engage with digital media.
