The Integrated Nature and Technology Research Group (INTENT RG) brings together the work, experience, knowledge and interests of the Landscape and Built Environment groups combining the themes of nature-based solutions and existing and new technologies in order to provide practical solutions to socio, economic and environmental problems mainly in cities.

About us

Our work focuses on researching and creating real life solutions to real life problems with an emphasis on working within the UN’s Sustainability Development Goals. The core focus of the group is Sustainable Development and collaborative and individual research and enterprise that has significant environmental, social and economic impact.Simple solutions to global and local problems are few and far between and we see great advantage in combining SMART and emerging technologies with nature-based solutions.Our group has strength in diversity in terms of scope and fields of expertise and also in experience and ingenuity leading ground-breaking international projects.
