Information for our new Network College students on how to register and benefit from our services.

Although you may be studying at one of our network colleges, you are studying for a University of Greenwich award and are therefore classed as a University of Greenwich student.

In order to benefit from services and to ensure accurate up keeping of your student record we need you to register with the university.

We will email you when your record is ready for Part 1: Online Registration. Usually, Part 2: Registration Checks, ie identity and qualifications checks, is done at your college at interview or when you start your studies. This information is then sent to our Student Records Team, who update your record accordingly. So Part 1: Online Registration should be the end of registration for you. Your summary of registration at the end of Online Registration will confirm whether or not Part 2: Registration Checks needs completing or not.

Your registration is complete when both parts of registration are completed in full. Your Greenwich Gateway Card is produced and sent to you about a week later. St Vincent college students cards are sent to the college, for students to collect.

Important note

We cannot send you a card if we do not have a photo of you on record. If you are a new student and have not been able to upload a photo within Online Registration, please e-mail us an electronic photo at Your e-mail should contain:

  • your full name
  • your student ID number
  • your photo saved as your ID number (000xxxxxx) in the correct format
