Completing registration

Information for new students studying at the Greenwich, Avery Hill and Medway campuses who have completed online registration and what to do next.

If you are a student studying on the Greenwich, Avery Hill or Medway campus you will complete your registration with a member of staff at the university.  This will involve staff making sure you have completed all the steps of Online Registration, checking some of your documents and, if everything is complete, issuing you with your Greenwich Gateway Card

If your course also need an Enhanced DBS or an Occupational Health clearance and these are outstanding, staff will give you some guidance about how to complete these checks.

Have you completed Online Registration?

Online Registration should be completed before your first day of your course and before a Greenwich Gateway card can be issued.  If you have been unable to complete your online registration before you arrive then a member of the registration and student centre teams will signpost you to the nearest computer faculties on campus.

For more information about the Online Registration process, visit our Online Registration guide.

Face to Face Registration and Card Collection

Face to Face Registration is usually scheduled as part of your first week timetable, but can only be completed if you have completed all of the Online Registration steps.

It is worth noting that you do not have to wait till the start of your course or necessarily register at the campus your course is based at.  The Student Centre and Registration teams are happy to register you early at all of our campuses.  However this will only be possible during the opening times of the Student Centre

Alternatively, email the Student Centre or call 020 8331 8272 to check if you are able to come in early to complete registration.

During the Welcome Week in September, Face to Face Registration will be completed at specific registration venues at each campus.  During this time you will need to attend the scheduled slot set up for your course programme.

However outside of September students are able to complete their registration at any Student Centre based on the main three campuses.
