Student Services

Chaplaincy

The University of Greenwich Chaplaincy Service supports people of all faiths and beliefs, as well as those without particular beliefs.

The Chaplaincy at the University of Greenwich provides a valuable service to both students and staff. The team offer help and guidance to all regardless of individual belief. If we can help, we will; if we can't, we will find someone who can.

The following initiatives are at the heart of our services:

Home from Home

Welcome and hospitality for everyone. We provide a positive, home-like atmosphere to students and staff, offering hospitality to anyone who comes to the Chaplaincy offices, helping students to settle in at the university, especially international students.

Heart to Heart

We listen to you about anything that is on your mind. For those who wish, we provide faith-based advice and support.. We provide confidential pastoral care and/or spiritual direction guidance to all students and staff, of all faiths or none. The Chaplaincy team also support respectful exploration and discussion of beliefs and ethics.

What we do

Chaplains are involved in many aspects of university life. We provide a service that is confidential and open to students and staff alike. We will try to find a faith or belief specific chaplain, if you wish.
