Beauty Akter is doing her Ph.D. at the University of Sussex, where her research focuses on corporate entrepreneurship, delving into areas such as corporate venturing, accelerators, incubators, and their impact on firm performance. She did her MBA in Entrepreneurship (2019-2021) and MA in English (2015-2016).

With a profound passion for accelerating innovation and fostering new business creation, she brings over six years of invaluable teaching experience in the university setting. Her deep insights into start-ups, business development, and venture capital make her a sought-after resource for students eager to navigate the dynamic landscape of entrepreneurship.

In her previous role as a faculty member at the Department of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, she played a pivotal role in shaping the academic discourse around emerging technologies and new product development. Her commitment to promoting diversity in entrepreneurship is evident through her involvement in organising numerous programs and events focused on women entrepreneurship. Her impact extends globally through her involvement with prominent entrepreneurship organisations, including the Global Entrepreneurship Research Network (GERN), GEN, Startup Grind, World Business Angels Investment Forum (WBAF), and HULT Prize at DIU.
