We offer a range of flexibility to help our employees balance work and personal life - including compressed and other types of working patterns, as well as options for hybrid and remote working.

We understand that the pace and challenges of modern work requires a strong emphasis on autonomy and balance, and we embrace the advantages of technology and hybrid working to support this.

We offer a variety of flexible working patterns, including compressed workweeks, part-time arrangements, and job-sharing options. Additionally, we are happy to consider remote working arrangements for specific roles. As part of our commitment to work-life balance, we also maintain a 35-hour workweek.

We offer a generous annual leave allowance, two wellbeing days each year, and discretionary time off during the Christmas and New Year period when the university is closed. Sustainability & transport

We are a sector leader in sustainability and have e-car, e-bike and cycle to work schemes, and offer free buses between our Avery Hill and Greenwich campuses, and subsidised buses for the Medway campus.
