Dr Chi Maher has extensive leadership positions for over 25 years in the third, public, Higher education sectors in the USA, Republic of Ireland and the UK. She has been responsible for ensuring academic quality and improvements in teaching, learning, scholarship for programmes and knowledge exchanges networks in the UK and Europe.

Dr Maher has developed teaching partnerships and collaborative engagements with the private sector, multinational firms, local authorities, and Government Departments to facilitate greater student exposure to business management skills and global issues.

She was appointed as an Executive Director of the NHS for 10 years and a winner of the West Focus Enterprising Business Award; an industry award for outstanding enterprise development in industry.

Dr Maher has established a portfolio of research outputs in national and international scientific journals, in the field of Human Resource Management Career Management and Social Enterprise Management. Over the last eight years Dr Chi Maher have published 17 outputs in national, international scientific journals. Dr Maher publications have made an original contribution to the field of social enterprise, career management and Human Resource Management.
