Michail Giannoulakis MSc (Hons), PhD (under completion)

Michail joined the Department of Accounting, Finance, and Economics in October 2023 as a Lecturer in Accounting and Finance. He is currently completing his PhD in Accounting and Finance at Loughborough University under full scholarship. His research interests broadly fall within the field of ex-post credit risk. Michail has several years of teaching experience in leading academic institutions like Queen Mary University of London, UCL and Loughborough University. Before entering academia, he also worked for Bank of Greece, Government Financial Operations and Accounts Department and the Overseas Development Institute.
