Dr. T.R. Wijesundara assumed the role of Senior Lecturer in Advertising and Marketing Communications at MGM in September 2023. His academic journey includes the attainment of a BBA degree from the University of Ruhuna in Sri Lanka, an MBA from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura in Sri Lanka, an M.Sc. from the University of Agder in Norway, and a PhD from Wuhan University of Technology in PR China. He also holds a Diploma in International Strategy from the University of Agder in Norway and a Diploma in Advertising from the School of Media Arts and Management in Sri Lanka.

With a commendable 13 years of experience in both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, he brings a wealth of knowledge to his academic endeavours. His contributions extend to the scholarly realm, where he has published in refereed journals and international conference proceedings, focusing on the domains of Marketing Communications and Consumer Behaviour. In addition to his academic research, he has also engaged in industry research. Beyond academia, he has garnered professional experience as a media planner.
