Living in University of Greenwich halls is a great way to make friends, build your independence and get the most out of student life.

5 steps to university accommodation

  1. Get prepared

You'll need to select the university as your firm choice before applying for accommodation (or you may already be a student here!).  If you're still deciding which hall's right for you, check out our accommodation pages.

  2. Visit the portal or use the Status Application Tracker to apply

The accommodation process is different depending on whether you are a prospective student or are already at the university.
    - If you are a prospective student, you can apply via the link within the Application Status Tracker. You will then be asked to create a password to allow you to access the halls application pages. Note: applications for the September 2020 entry open on 10th March.
    - If you are a current student, you need to go to the main university portal, select 'My Student Life' and click on 'Forms and Information' under 'Accommodation.' This will take you to the online application form.

  3. Submit your application

Please check we've got your correct email address before submitting your application as all correspondence relating to your hall application will be sent via email. If there's an error, just contact our Enquiry Unit or Accommodation Services.

  4. Accept

  5. Once you've selected the room you want, just sign the accommodation licence agreement and pay your deposit before the deadline date provided. You will receive an email confirming your place with information about collecting your keys and moving in.

You can apply for accommodation if you're currently younger than 18, as long as you'll be turning 18 during your first academic year. If you do not turn 18 during your first year of study, you can contact Accommodation Services and we'll give you guidance on other housing options.
