Teaching Fellow in Public Health

Natalie has been working as a Teaching Fellow in the Public Health Team since September 2023, after graduating from the MSc Global Health Programme. Previously, Natalie worked in health improvement for a local authority in Kent, organising and delivering individual and community health promotion, to facilitate healthy behaviour change.

Research / Scholarly interests

Natalie is interested in the intricate interplay between lifestyles, risky health behaviours such as alcohol consumption, poor diet and physical inactivity and the wider determinants of health. She has a particular interest in the societal impact of obesity and related health complications. Also, further research interests include understanding the motivation for behaviour change and the development of evidence-based solutions to empower individuals to make sustainable lifestyle choices.
