My aspiration: to empower young people

Public Health graduate Raphael Bobie tells us how the University helped him bring his idea for social change into reality.

Our courses

We offer degrees in public health and global public health. You can study a full-time and part-time degree.

Communities and societies

Our active student-led societies offer a space for personal and academic growth, as well as new opportunities to make lasting friendships. Students can take part in activities throughout the year, both through the department and via the wider Students’ Union.

Research and partnerships

We have a history of carrying out specific and multidisciplinary activity across a range of research and enterprise contexts including the delivery of training and CPD.

ILD | Institute for Lifecourse Development

The ILD is a key anchor resource hosted by the Faculty of Education, Health & Human Sciences. Professionals from related fields will work closely together with researchers and stakeholders from public, charitable and voluntary organisations. Together they will develop effective and economically sustainable life course solutions and tackle the grand challenge agendas society faces.
