Pellet Boiler Installers and Drivers courses
Half Day Courses for Domestic Pellet Boiler Installers or Drivers

The following topics will be covered on the Installers course:

- Dust, degradation and explosion risk (properties and hazards of biomass dust, control of dust generation and emission, responsibilities under ATEX/DSEAR regulations, basic housekeeping and maintenance)
- Outgassing hazards
The following topics will be covered on the Drivers course:
- Pellet Attrition;
- Storage Systems;
- Outgassing Hazards;
- Safety Issues;
- Operational Aspects of using a Tanker;
A 'Hall of Shame' has been compiled to highlight real examples of bad practice for both courses.
Is this course for me?
One course is aimed at Domestic Pellet Boiler installers and related businesses - suppliers and manufacturers of said boilers, installers and users.
The other course aimed at drivers of lorries and tankers delivering the pellets. It is also suitable for those requiring Quality Management Training.
Pellet manufacturers and multi-national companies handling pellets would benefit from our range of short courses for industry, covering a variety of bulk materials handling subjects.
