Greenwich sign agreement with Royal Parks

TLDRoffon

Building on our location adjacent to Greenwich Park we have established a unique agreement with Royal Parks

The Royal Parks has been working with Ed Wall and colleagues in the University of Greenwich to establish work-experience positions for landscape students.

The students will work to provide technical support for the delivery of the Landscape Architectural elements of the multi-million pound Greenwich Park Revealed HLF/BIG Lottery funded project to reveal and enhance the extraordinary heritage of Greenwich Park. Situated at the centre of the Greenwich Maritime World Heritage Site, the project will ensure the parks place at the heart of the community for the next 500 years. Students will play a key role in developing the relationship between The Royal Parks and the University of Greenwich and associated activities, workshops and learning opportunities in Landscape Architecture and the range of built environment professions associated with the project.

The collaboration with the Royal Parks has also included a live project with students working with Zaha Hadid Design. This will result in a new structure being built in Greenwich Park in 2021.
