Cooperation Africa Webinar: Credit Unions in Africa and the Caribbean on 29 April

We are delighted to share with you the invitation to a webinar organised by Cooperation Africa, an initiative founded by Dr. Adotey Bing-Pappoe of the Greenwich Business School and PEGFA, on Credit Unions in Africa and the Caribbean, with Associate Prof. Sallyanne Decker of the GBS and PEGFA, Wondimagegn Muche (Niras Consulting) and Ralph Henry (Kairi Consultants and Pan-African Enterprise Research Council).

Cooperation Africa hosts educational webinars that unpack the structures and opportunities for cooperatives in Africa and around the world. In this webinar you will be introduced to discuss Credit Unions, which are a type of cooperative that is popular in parts of Africa and the Caribbean. Wondimagegn Muche is the Rural Finance Advisor at Niras Consulting Company. His presentation will be on Saving and Credit Cooperatives in Ethiopia.

Sallyanne Decker is Associate Professor, University of Greenwich Business School. Her presentation will be on Credit Unions: What They Are and How They Work.

Ralph Henry is the Chairman of Kairi Consultants and the Co-Founder of Pan-African Enterprise Research Council. His presentation will be on Credit Unions in the Caribbean.
