Dr Wildauer presents research on wealth distribution in Europe to MEPs

PEGFA deputy director Dr Rafael Wildauer was invited by the group of Socialists & Democrats in the European Parliament to present his research on the distribution of private wealth in the European Union and the implications for wealth taxation, including questions about the design choices of such taxes and their revenue potential. The meeting takes place on 7th February at the European Parliament in Brussels. Dr Wildauer’s research on the topic is part of a project funded by the Foundation for European Progressive Studies and the Vienna Chamber of Labour. The research was conducted together with PEGFA PhD students Ines Heck and Stuart Leitch.
