The Enterprise Challenge 2026 has reached its most exciting stage as twelve outstanding student entrepreneurs move forward to compete for the title of Greenwich Entrepreneur of the Year 2026. After receiving 177 applications, this year’s competition showcased a remarkable range of ideas, from socially driven ventures tackling community challenges to commercially focused start-ups bringing innovative products and services to life. Following a competitive round of semi‑final pitches on 5 March, judged by Ella Wineberg, Xander Adeosun, and Shamir Sanghrajka, these twelve finalists have emerged as the most promising founders to watch.
Each finalist brings a unique vision, powerful motivation, and a commitment to creating meaningful impact. Their ideas span sectors including sustainability, education, health, fashion, technology, and social change, highlighting the creativity and ambition flourishing across the University of Greenwich. Over the coming weeks, the finalists will receive continued mentoring and support as they refine their pitches, strengthen their business models, and prepare to step onto the Grand Finals stage.
The journey culminates at the Enterprise Challenge Grand Finals on Wednesday, 25 March 2026, at the Powerhouse, Cooper Building, where the finalists will present their ventures in a live, Dragon’s Den‑style pitch event judged by Tiffany Chiu, Emmanuel Asuquo, and Marni Swindells. With prizes including £5,000 for Entrepreneur of the Year and several category awards, the stakes are high for our student entrepreneurs.
