I am gaining new ideas and knowledge; I have great peers around me and wonderful lecturers.

We speak to Charlotte Cruz about the Accelerated Primary Education course that she is currently enrolled on.

“I chose to study at the University of Greenwich because it was in a lovely area.” Charlotte told us. “When I was researching the course that I wanted to study, I discovered that it had the best results.” Charlotte also revealed that she already had a friend studying on the course, who told her that the lecturers are very supportive.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation, Charlotte admits that it has not all been plain sailing. However, she notes; “I am so thankful for the support from the teachers. No matter what happens, they are always there to help when you need it.” Charlotte goes on to say that the course is meeting all her expectations. “I get the best support, a lot of extra activities to do and all in all it has been great. I am enjoying learning new things and for me learning new things and the support is the best part.”

Charlotte is also happy to report that she has made friends during her time at Greenwich. “I would say that my peers are very kind and helpful and we all help each other if anyone needs it.” She explains; “We even made a group to help each other and discuss what we are learning about on that specific day – my peers are great people.”

We asked Charlotte if she would recommend the two year Accelerated Primary Education course. “I would highly recommend this course to anyone interested in this area.” Charlotte said, “It is fun to study, you gain new ideas and knowledge, you have great peers around you and wonderful lecturers.”

Charlotte told us that after graduating from this course, she would like to continue studying. “My future goal is to work in nurseries and primary schools for a few years then go onto social work or something in that area.” She told us.
