Two University of Greenwich Business experts have won research funding from the Institute of Coaching at McLean Hospital, a Harvard Medical School affiliate, part of Harvard University.

Joanna Molyn and Professor David Gray, from the university's Business School, are behind the $26,000 research project, which is on now as part of a six-month run. It will involve 200 Business School students being coached by professional executive coaches from Ashridge Business School. Each student will receive six coaching sessions.

The study will examine the effects of coaching on factors such as: students' wellbeing, resilience, goal attainment, perceived stress, hope, self-efficacy and outcome expectations.

The project is a research collaboration with Professor Erik de Haan from Ashridge Business School. This innovative research, the first of its kind in a UK university, demonstrates Greenwich's commitment to improving students' well-being and educational experience.
