According to Femicide Census, on average, a woman is killed by a man every 3 days, and men’s violence against women is a leading cause of the premature death for women globally.
The Global 16 Days Campaign runs from November 25 (International Day Against Violence Against Women) to December 10 (International Human Rights Day). During this time we hope to take what we learned during our series on Gender Based Violence and share how to apply it so we can make our spaces, classrooms and communities safe places for people of all genders.
Over the 16 Days we will be hosting events and sharing articles to raise awareness, educate and bring about change for women and girls.
