Renewing is easy; login to your online account at www.gov.uk/studentfinance and click on 'renew'.
It is important that if you're planning on studying in 20/21 from September, you make your application soon to make sure your funding is available for the start of term. The deadline for applications is Tuesday 30 June, but the sooner you can complete the application, the the better for ensuring your funding is in place. If anything changes between now and the start of term, you do not have to take the funding and there are no penalties for making an application and then not using it.
