The winning case study submission will be awarded a £250 bursary, which will enable the individual or team to disseminate their good practice at a relevant conference of their choice.
- Entries can be submitted by teams or individuals
- Posters must be submitted on one page
- As posters will be printed A1, the files should be set up as A1 to avoid pixellation. We recommend you use Microsoft Publisher or Adobe Illustrator and use the A1 file preset.
- Electronic copies must be sent to attainmentgap@greenwich.ac.uk by 31 May 2019
- Posters must include the following information:
- Title and entrant(s) name
- Include Departments/Schools/Programmes
- Description of the project
- The intended impact of change
- Evidence of impact (VA data, feedback etc.) or expected outcome, if it is too early to collect evidence
- Conclusion/Recommendations
Please also provide an abstract (500 words) and short paragraph on how you propose to spend the £250 bursary in a separate document, so these can be shared with the jury panel.
We welcome posters that focus on one of the following themes:
- Creating an inclusive environment for students
- Tackling the BAME attainment gap
- Staff and student collaboration
For further details, please see the poster competition brief and example poster created by Kingston University approximately 1-2 years ago when the project to close the attainment gap launched.
The winning poster will be announced at our Summer Community of Practice event and will be exhibited in Dreadnought (details for both of these are to be confirmed).
