Pioneered by the National Autistic Society (NAS), Autism Acceptance Week aims to draw attention to the 700,000 people living with autism in the UK, both to educate those unaware of the disability, and to help make the world friendlier to those who are autistic.
Colour Day
The theme of Autism Acceptance Week this year is Colour. We want to make Friday 31 March Colour Day at the university. Let’s wear bright colours and upload pictures on to social media or the Faculty TEAMS channels or Yammer using the tag #AutismAcceptance to raise awareness of all things autism. Choice of colour is up to you!
