The centre will be run by the Department of Health & Social Care in conjunction with the Royal Borough of Greenwich. It is accessed directly from the main entrance to the Southwood Site on Avery Hill Road and the centre is next to the tennis courts.
The university is taking every possible step to ensure its campuses are Covid-safe and is pleased to host this testing centre to support the local community.
Appointments at the testing centre are by appointment: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/testing-and-tracing/get-a-test-to-check-if-you-have-coronavirus/
Everyone who attends the testing centre must follow a strict set of rules, including following social distancing, practising good personal hygiene, not travelling by taxi or public transport and wearing a face covering throughout.
There will be clear signage that directs those coming to the testing centre to move around the location in a socially distanced manner, and they will be directed to leave as soon as they are finished.
