Big BandA musical journey through the story of Avery Hill takes place at the next University of Greenwich Big Band charity concert.

The show, which takes place on Sunday 27 March at 3pm, includes a multimedia presentation of the history of the Avery Hill site. Running from the early days prior to Colonel North, through the years of teaching and the impact of two world wars, the show will feature images from the college archives. Music covering the period will be played by the university Big Band.

Tickets are free and there will be a collection for Demelza Hospice Care For Children,

a charity supporting families across Kent, south east London and East Sussex.

The concert will be held at the David Fussey Lecture Theatre, Southwood Site, Avery Hill Road, London SE9 2UG.
