Empower your students with a lecture shout out for the Big Choice

TLDRoffon

The Big Choice is the student referendum which takes place between 11-18 October. If you can host a 5 minute talk from an SU staff member between 12-18 October, please get in touch.

Greenwich Students' Union (SU) is a democratic organisation run by students for students with over 22,000 members, and represents student views to the university at all levels and provide support services for its members.

They've launched a student referendum called the Big Choice and need your help to get students voting.

Voting is open from 5pm on Thursday 11 October to 5pm on Thursday 18 October, and you are welcome to come to the vote launch event on Thursday 11 October, to find out more about the referendum and the proposals students will vote on.

If you can host a 5 minute Big Choice Talk between 12-18 October by an SU Staff member so students can hear more about the referendum and what the vote means, why its important and the four ballot questions then please request a talk here before 4pm on 12 October*. Student campaigners from the yes and no teams will be invited to speak to your students on the decision they should make.

The outcome of the referendum will hugely impact the way students engage in their representation structures all the way from their programme rep to the President of the Student Union.

Thank you.
