Reminder: Changes to Payroll deadlines, February - May 2020

During parallel running of the HR and Payroll systems between February to May, the payroll deadlines will be strictly the 10th of each month. Any requests received after the deadline will be processed in the following month’s payroll.

The HCM Oracle Cloud HR & Payroll project will deliver a modern and integrated Payroll and HR system, which incorporates a best practice Employee and Manager Self Service capability.

During February to the end of May both HR Services Teams and Payroll will be parallel running the new system and our existing systems. This is a significant piece of this work and therefore deadlines for payroll changes must be received by HR Services Teams strictly by the 10th of each month (or the previous working day if the 10th is a non-working day). 

The Payroll deadlines for February to May are as follows:

  • February - Monday 10 February
  • March -  Tuesday 10 March
  • April – Thursday 9 April  (o/a Easter)
  • May – Thursday  7 May (o/a the change to the Early May Bank Holiday for 2020)

If you need to submit any paperwork to HR please make sure that it is received by these published deadlines.

Anything received after these deadlines will be processed for the following month's payroll.
