TLDRoffon

We are supporting Save the Children and taking part in their annual Christmas Jumper Day, this year it may be a little different as many of us are working or studying remotely but we can all share the fun!

Every year, Save the Children hold their annual Christmas Jumper Day. If you want to take part, you can wear your favourite Christmas Jumper and donate £2 (or whatever you can) to help support their work around the globe. You can read more about the amazing and life changing work on the Save the Children website.

How do I take part?

It's easy, simply wear your Christmas jumper and donate what you can to Save the Children using our Just Giving Page.

If you have your own department, Society, Team Greenwich or academic community, Just Giving Page you follow these steps to link it to the main university page:

You don't have to wear a Christmas Jumper

No, you can choose how you take part. If you don't have a Christmas Jumper you can join in with by using one of our Christmas themed Teams backgrounds, creating one of your own, or just by wearing festive coloured clothing or accessories. It's all about raising awareness and having fun together.

Your Christmas Jumper can be sustainable

There are plenty of ways to be sustainable on Christmas Jumper Day, upcycling an old jumper or a second-hand jumper are some of the ways, Save the Children have more ideas on their Christmas Jumper Day Website

Whatever you do to celebrate Christmas Jumper Day on 11 December have fun and stay safe.

You can read more about Save the Children and how they use your donation on their website.
