GOLD updates

Following our successful reaccreditation with AdvanceHE, we have a few updates on how GOLD will run from September 2022.

There will be 4 GOLD application submission and review points per year. Whilst this represents fewer submission points, the changes was required to accommodate the new reviewing and external moderating processes required by AdvanceHE.

Application submission dates

Applications will continue to be submitted via email to GOLD@greenwich.ac.uk.

Wednesday 7 September 2022 (11.59pm)

Friday 2 December 2022 (11.59pm)

Friday 3 March 2023 (11.59pm)

Wednesday 31 May 2023 (11.59pm)

Following approval of reviewer provisional outcomes from the external examiner mentees will be contacted with the outcome of their application and sent a letter and feedback in the usual way. This does mean there will be a longer gap between submission and hearing the outcome.

Application types

The written route on the application form will continue in September 2022. A new recorded screencast option is available for those not wishing to provide a fully written application. Full details are in the participant handbooks. Anyone wishing to submit a screencast for should contact GOLD@greenwich.ac.uk for guidance on how to do this.

GOLD CPD

The central CPD offer from the GOLD team will continue in the usual way with Mentee Development Workshops, GOLD drop-in’s, and introductory workshops for colleagues interested in SFHEA and PFHEA. Find the full offer here.
