We are invested in our students and the vision of a welcoming and inclusive learning community where everybody is supported and encouraged to achieve their full potential.
In partnership with Grit: Breakthrough Programmes we are delivering a new leadership programme open to all students of colour.
The aim is to bring students together from across the institution, creating a group of individuals with a shared understanding and platform to explore and reflect on your cultural identity, experience connection and belonging whilst building networks, resources and relationships.
How to get involved
To take part in the workshop on 23 – 24 November on Greenwich Campus, sign up to a pre-course enrolment session using the link below:
A 2-day Personal Development Programme
- A 2-day Student workshop designed to invest in all students of African, Arab, Asian and Caribbean heritage
- An opportunity for you to become more resilient; building supportive mechanisms through which you can sustain your leadership journey
- A safe space to discuss and reflect on identity, relationship to leadership, past experiences, goals, whilst supporting with any self-limiting beliefs that may be holding you back
Together, we will explore our lived experiences through a process of listening and sharing that has previously had students report powerful mindset shifts, increased levels of confidence and amplified feelings of belonging and connection.
Why join the programme
We are committed to investing in our students both to help you make the most of your university experience, and to set you up for success beyond university.
This is an exciting opportunity and is a training unlike any other.
"Oh my goodness. I have never been on a leadership course like this. I felt seen, I felt valued and I felt like I could truly learn from this experience."
- Former Grit participant
