Well done to our AHOY crew for Sunday's charity row

Their training is done, they've survived their river training and they've already met their £2000 fundraising target (but you can still donate), now there's just the 8.5 mile row ahead of them.

Everyone at Greenwich is wishing our all female staff and student crew the very best of luck for their 8.5 mile charity row on Sunday, raising money for the AHOY Centre in Deptford.

Claire Chalmers, Stephanie Wicken, Liz Laurence, Abigail Rickard, April Moore and Clare Turbridy will be setting off from Woolwich Pier at 12.00-12.30 depending on the tide and rowing the north side of the bank, with the finish line at the Cutty Sark.  They're hoping to reach the finish line anytime from 1pm onwards, before rowing on to the AHOY centre in Deptford to return their boat.

They'll be on the river with six other teams, and if you're in Greenwich on Sunday, they'd welcome you cheering them along.

While they've reached their £2,000 fundraising target - thank you to everyone who's already donated - you can still donate on their fundraising page.
