She developed the Royal College of Nursing's Sexual Health Skills course, which is accredited by the university.

Michele Verroken, an alumna of Dartford College of Education, one of the university's predecessors, is a global expert in the field of ethics in sport
She designed and implemented international standards to prevent doping and currently advises on ethical and integrity issues in sport through Sporting Integrity, the consultancy she set up in 2004.

Junior Smart was named one of the Evening Standard's 1000 influential Londoners in 2014 and 2015 for his work establishing the Southwark Offenders Support (SOS)
SOS covers 12 London Boroughs – including Greenwich – and supports former offenders and gang members to mentor young people affected by gang culture. Junior also teaches a module titled 'Meeting the specific healthcare needs of young people' at the university.
