Tell us a bit about yourself
I am wee but mighty! I love peanut butter and jam, detective dramas and my reading competition with my partner when I’m winning.
What challenges have you faced in the last 12 months?
Like many people, my partner and I have experienced many challenges this year related to our care responsibilities, of our toddler and parents and managing full time work. We have a toddler who never sleeps so I have been learning how to manage a demanding job with minimum sleep.
What are you looking forward to?
Our first summer in a new town by the sea. I am also looking forward to working with the gender and social difference programme and research group at NRI and I have a PhD student starting very soon.
Who or what inspires you?
I work with fantastic people at NRI, the University and internationally. This network motivates and inspires me on a daily basis. I am very fortunate and grateful for these relationships, as they have enabled me to grow both professionally and personally and feel secure enough to explore new areas of research.
