Current statistics captured by the university tell us little about the lived experience of those self-identifying as LGBTQIA+. Moving beyond homogenised approaches to a little understood acronym, this research aimed to shine light on the unique, and in many cases intersectional, identities and experiences represented.
Throughout the 2021/22 academic session this case study progressed through stages of co-production. Research team members working in collaboration with participants to explore and define areas of success, and to identify where improvement is necessary.
Sharing our discoveries is key and we invite all colleagues to join us to review the research findings and explore the recommendations this research report is putting forward.
