Speaking at the ceremony, Lord Boateng said:
I am here as part of the university family. This university stands for inclusion, opportunity, excellence in education while reaching out to the wider world, equipping future generations with the tools they need to make a difference in the world. And they do it with passion, vision and focus.
Addressing the graduands, he said:
There is absolutely nothing that you can not achieve.
