A 48 Minute Talk on Listening, Timing and Organising Sound, held by Composer Graham Fitkin, will explore various examples of audio excerpts.
A musician whose commissioned credits include the BBC Proms, Royal Opera House, New York City Ballet, Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, Sacconi Quartet and many others, Graham will give a talk which will include audio excerpts of his own work, live examples of sounds and false silences. His music to date has been recorded by Sony, Decca, Bis, Factory and others.
Graham also composes for concerts, dance, film and digital media and runs his own ensemble of nine soloists.
