It will argue that Universities need to take responsibility for their own values and mission beyond the current policy environment they are located within and ensure that their values are at the forefront of their practice and fit for purpose in the 21st century. It will highlight the case study of the University of Lincoln, UK which has taken this perspective to its heart and developed its practice to create one community of scholars at different stages of their learning. It will draw on other examples from the past and other institutions.
We'd appreciate bookings via Eventbrite in advance to help us gauge numbers, however you are still welcome to come along on the evening.
