Dr Namitasha Wallace Goring is a fantastic lecturer who helps students reach the next level and places tremendous amounts of effort into lectures and workshops. Nami has also dedicated extra time for students allowing them to get a grasp of complex concepts and gain a comprehensive understanding of the law surrounding Competition. Lastly, the content produced for the module over a short period of time is extremely commendable and a testament to why she deserves this award!
Dr Terry Ferns is an excellent lecturer. He made us as students feel comfortable with the learning. Learning new material can be hard at times, but he made the process feel like a breeze. During the first outbreak of COVID, he stepped up and helped out when critical care units were so very overwhelmed. His demeanour was professional and he is an all round great man!
Dr Justine Baillie is an amazing personal tutor and lecturer, is a great listener and deserves all the best things in life. I couldn’t have gone through the last couple years without her support and unwavering acceptance. She’s one of those people in your life that you never forget.
Diluk Rathnayake always puts 100% effort in his tutorials, he is extremely helpful and I feel enthusiasm from him when he is teaching. He always makes sure that all of us understand the subject. Always tries the best to explain everything. He is smart and professional.
Professor Christopher Walshaw has created high-quality hybrid teaching, implemented digital innovation techniques for learning and removed barriers to inequal accessibility. By using different styles of teaching and support, he has co-created with students and developed a future-thinking curriculum that is person-centred (despite locations and circumstances). He is engaging and deliver his teaching through a variety of techniques to support different learning styles.
It is my observation that Dr. Katarina Stenke has an outstanding teaching ability. She makes a conscientious and consistent effort to include and engage every student in the lecturing sessions. I have greatly benefitted from her vast knowledge, evident passion for teaching and her methods for promoting student engagement and interactions in the seminar sessions.
