Following the Government’s lockdown announcement, we have suspended all car parking charges until further notice. The timescale will depend on changes to the lockdown arrangements and how these affect our campuses.
Car parks remain open
Car parks at Avery Hill and Medway remain open for essential use only by staff and students. Access to Greenwich campus will remain available to permit holders or staff that have booked a space on the visitor parking booking system.
Staff monthly permit
If you are paying for a monthly permit the fee will not be deducted this month. The permit will remain valid and deductions will restart automatically once car park charges are reintroduced unless the permit is cancelled. Permits can be cancelled on the parking permit page but this is not required for the suspension to be enabled.
In the case of permits paid for upfront, a cancellation is required for a refund to be made according to the usual terms.
