The Generator offers a range of free support to students from any subject including 1-1 appointments, workshops, training events and funding competitions.

The Generator is our student enterprise centre helping students and graduates to develop entrepreneurial skills, networks, and launch new businesses and social enterprises.

We offer a range of free support to students from any subject including 1-1 appointments, workshops, training events and funding competitions. 

Participating in our programmes can help graduates to stand out from the crowd when talking to employers, or to create their own income by starting their own business in a field they're passionate about.

  • To find out what enterprise is about come and listen to one of our Power Talks.
  • To develop a business or social enterprise idea take part in our Enterprise Challenge competition for a chance to win up to £5000 in cash – the deadline to apply is 30 November 2020.
  • If you need help forming an idea or a team join our first remote edition of #GreStartUp on 24 October – a one day bootcamp that will take you through the process of developing and launching an idea. Apply here by 7 October.
  • If you're interesting in developing consultancy experience take part in one of our brand new GreHacks – 2 day events that will introduce you to a host employer and give you the opportunity to provide a solution to a live brief in teams. Our first hack event is in partnership with publishing house Cassava Republic . For more details, keep an eye out on our social media.
