The new cloud-based Oracle Finance & Procurement system for finance and procurement activity is now live and will transform how we systemise our finance and procurement processes. This expands the Horizon platform to supplement the HR, payroll and expenses modules that were released in May 2020 along with the budgeting and planning modules, Workforce Planning, Student Number Planning and Financials which went live earlier this year.
Expense Claims, Purchase Orders and Sales Invoices can now be processed in Horizon. Find out more and access support and guidance here.
Investing in a modern Finance & Procurement system has accelerated 20 years of minimal enhancements to the legacy Banner Financials system and will reduce the need for manual inefficient workarounds to understand performance and ensure greater confidence and trust in our financial data and understanding of performance. This will underpin the insight and analysis to ensure financial sustainability of the university in support of our ambition to be the best modern university by 2030.
