The winners, and some pictures, from this year's Student Led Teaching Awards

In total students made a record number of 922 nominations for 300 individual staff. And once again Dreadnought was transformed for a glittering awards ceremony.

Starting with our student awards

Academic Society of the Year

This was awarded to MathSoc who were described as

an essential part of their department by creating a vibrant and social academic community.

The shortlisted societies were: The Business Society, The Psychedelic Society and The Law Society.

Faculty Officer of the Year

This award recognises the role of elected Faculty Officers, the winner for 2019 is Zoe Campbell from the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

Also shortlisted were: Angel Rose from Education and Health, Bernadette Cozma from Engineering and Science, Ena Softic from Liberal Arts and Sciences and Will Clarke from Business.

Programme Representative of the Year

This award recognises exceptional service from Student Representatives. The 2019 winners are:

Outstanding Personal Tutor

This award recognises the exceptional work to support the varying challenges that students face during their time at university.

Faculty Star Award

This award recognises the hard work of all staff who exceed expectations to support students within their faculty.

The Wellbeing Champion is a new award which recognises work to support students to succeed throughout any issues or barriers. The 2019 winners are: Student Academic Services Team.

Support Service Awards recognise staff working behind the scenes to support the student experience. The individual winner is Tracy Doyle, Academic & Welfare Adviser, Greenwich Students' Union..

The team award for Support Service was won by Information and Library Services with the Business School Employability team and the Student Wellbeing Service also shortlisted.

The Extra Mile award goes to staff who exceed expectations. The winner is Christine Colson, Care Leaver Co-ordinator, UK Student Recruitment.
