The application form should be completed by staff members who wish to undertake an apprenticeship programme for the purposes of development, starting in 2025/2026.
The apprenticeship programme will be delivered by external providers and centrally funded by the Government Apprenticeship Levy with no cost to the learner or Faculty/Directorate.
If you’re scheduling your appraisal and thinking about the next development goals for you, perhaps consider an apprenticeship. Staff can develop through leadership or skills related apprenticeships. You can explore Coaching, Team Leader, Associate Project Manager, Data Analyst or Business administrator apprenticeships, all available through flexible, virtual delivery. Additionally, due to updates on funding rules, the University now offers staff the final opportunity to join the Senior Leader Apprenticeship (Level 7) September 2025 cohort.
