Staff Personal Announcements: A new group on Yammer

This group has been created to replace the All Staff Announce service which recently failed and is beyond repair.

Our plans to decommission and replace the All Staff Announce platform have been accelerated, and the new group - Staff Personal Announcements - is now available on Yammer, which is part of Office 365.

  • If you want to receive email updates on items posted in this new group, you can set this from the right-hand sidebar, in Access Options, ticking 'Subscribe to this group by email'
  • Please use All Company group for sharing information relating to university business, and use the Staff Personal Announcements group for personal posts.
  • In the Staff Personal Announcements group we recommend using the suggested tags, such as Looking For, Lost Found and Information on your posts, which will also help people find your items, and that posts are removed when they are no longer current.
  • Please note: this is now an opt-in service.
