Statement in response to death of a recently graduated student

TLDRoffon

We are shocked and saddened to hear of the death of one of our recent graduates, Alice Clark, following a fatal collision involving an on-duty ambulance on Wednesday 5th January.

Our thoughts and sympathies are with Alice’s family, friends and colleagues at this incredibly difficult time, and also with the other individuals who were injured in the incident.

Alice had recently graduated from the University of Greenwich and by all accounts had quickly become an important part of the team in her role as a paramedic with the South East Coast Ambulance Service.

Our university support services are offering support to our students and staff who have been affected by this terrible news and we urge anyone from our university community who needs support to get in touch with us.

Students can access our support services via our website or on the Togetherall community page or through their Personal Tutor. Students and staff can also access further advice and links to support here.
