The Stephen Lawrence Day Foundation was established by Stephen's mother Baroness Doreen Lawrence OBE, who is part of our Greenwich alumni community and also holds an honorary directorate from the university.
Baroness Lawrence wants the day to be "a reflective learning experience, and a celebration and a journey towards equality and inclusion for all." We're encouraging our whole university community to reflect on the part we all play in creating a society where everyone can flourish, and how we can be part of Stephen's legacy for change.
