Nominations are open until Friday 22 April
Now is your chance to continue to make a powerful impact on student life here at Greenwich. You can nominate now. Or if you don’t think the role is for you but know someone who is, you can suggest a friend.
Programme Representatives:
Programme Representatives are the first port of call for any suggestions, comments or queries about the academic experience on each Programme.
Elections this Spring are for continuing undergraduate roles only, any first year and postgraduate roles will be elected in the 2022 autumn term.
School Network Officers:
Our School Network Officers are a new role to lead the school-based networks
They will support both academic community and representation at a school level.
This is an excellent role to apply for if you are looking for a new opportunity and leadership experience. It will include working with senior academic staff, organising events and being the student lead for school level representation.
You are able to take on this role as well as be a Programme Rep. We'd really recommend this as a development opportunity.
Student Group Committees:
These are the student leaders of Sports Clubs, Societies and Academic Societies.
You will need to be a member of the group you are applying to.
All of our groups at GSU are student-led and you will work with others to lead your activity. Societies typically have a President, Secretary and Treasurer. Sports Clubs often have additional roles of leadership within them.
These roles are hugely important to actively listening to the student body and creating a range of opportunities and change for better for our community at Greenwich. However, in nominating for a role there are also benefits for nominees personal and professional development. As an elected representative there are many opportunities to further develop skills, knowledge, and experience.
If you have any questions about criteria for roles, how the elections work or any other queries then please don’t hesitate to contact elections@greenwich.ac.uk or find out more on the GSU website.
