The Graduate Outcomes Survey is live

TLDRoffon

Help us reach graduates who completed their studies between May and July 2023.

Graduates who completed a higher education course between 1 May and 31 July 2023 (Cohort D) have received an email to the online survey and will be surveyed between 1 September and 30 November 2024.

The Graduate Outcomes Survey takes place four times a year and graduates are split into four cohorts, based on the end date of their studies. The survey is based on a census week, and for Cohort D this is the first week in September.

How you can help

The Alumni and Fundraising team keeps graduates informed about the survey, which is conducted by HESA (Higher Education Statistics Agency) either via phone or online.

If you are in touch with graduates, please encourage them to take part in the survey. It is important to reassure them that HESA is calling on behalf of the University of Greenwich.

You can find more information about the survey on the Graduate Outcomes site.

About the survey

The survey asks about what students are doing 15 months after completing their degree and some more subjective questions about how they feel about their current situation and general well-being. There’s a core set of questions that they’ll need to answer so their response can be used, but in total the survey should take about ten minutes to complete online.

The survey is important for many reasons. Graduate responses will be crucial in allowing current and future students to make informed choices and help us to evaluate and promote our courses. They will also contribute to the university’s position in the league tables, provide sector insights and highlight trends in the graduate job market.

For a full and accurate representation of the success of our graduates in finding good jobs or progressing to further study, we need them to be aware of the survey and to have accurate and up-to-date contact details.
