Welcome to our Graduate Work Experience Scheme interns starting with us today

TLDRoffon

Today seven interns started their 12-week internships across different departments in the university. They are all hoping this internship will help them progress to graduate level jobs.

Welcome to our interns who started today

This is the fifth consecutive year we have run this Graduate Work Experience Scheme (GWES), which gives our recent Greenwich graduates the opportunity to gain graduate level work experience to help them secure permanent graduate level positions.

A very warm welcome to:

  • Alexander Rose, Graduate Trainee Research Officer, HSS Literary Studies, FLAS
  • Azeez Abdul, Graduate Trainee Events and Activities Officer, Faculty of Business
  • Eirik Thue, Graduate Trainee Digital Media and Video Producer, Greenwich Students' Union
  • Eumie Osgood, Graduate Trainee Project Officer, ILS Library Archives
  • Mahaveer Gill, Graduate Trainee IT Projects Officer, FLAS Infrastructure
  • Monika Kociute, Graduate Trainee Communications Officer, Social Media, Communications & Recruitment
  • Tofayel Choudhury, Graduate Trainee Software Developer, CMS Applied Research-IoT, FLAS

With little experience I've had trouble finding a graduate level position, through this internship I hope to gain experience and skills to build my confidence and get a graduate position.
Eumie Osgood.

Our Employability & Careers Service (ECS) supports all students secure their graduate job goals, through internships and practical skills including a CV builder and practice psychometric tests.
